I thank You, Father

I thank You, Father, for this holy day,
Holy because it offers me a chance
To save my brother as I save myself.
May this day be the one in which I find
The resolution of the slumberous dream
That I could ever be apart from You.
Your word assures me that you love the world.
How then, can I condemn a part of it
And ever hope to find the Way to You.
As I withdraw my judgment from all things,
The real world rises up to meet my sight.
Forgiveness holds a happy counterpart
To every thought that does not come from You.
Your Holy Spirit re-translates the dream
Of fear, to one which is reflective of Your Love.
The time of salvation is now at hand.
So help me rise up in Your Holiness,
And steady my feet, that they stumble not.
